Russian made Kevlar/Aramid Ballistic helmet. For export to the Czech army. This is one you see rarely offered.
Its based on the Schuberth made B826 Bundeswehr issue helmet, paratroop/special forces variation. But with a different liner system, and made by a Russian company; Kirasa, located in Perm.
Helmet is in good overal condition, has been issued and worn, so expect wear accordingly. No holes, bumps, cracks whatsoever. Standard Bundeswehr mat olive color. Liner is the modified Schuberth liner for airborne troops. The top plastic craddle that is usually found with these has been replaced by an older type? Of dome fitting, wich is adaptable aswell. The typical German plastic "knobs" can be found all around the headband though. The heaband is made out of leather (can be detached and replaced) and shows darkening, but is in good supple condition. This one is the Larger version, size adaptable from 58 (US 7 1/4) to 62 (7 3/4). The velcro adjustment tabs are taped together with black duct tape for better securing, common field practice. These are extremely rare helmets, as they were made initially for the Czech army, as a late war compensation by Russia. 2000 of these were delivered to the Czech army. So get your chance on this one. If you have any questions I'll do my best to respond in time. A great addition to any collection! Trough the European Union aswell.
